Writing as Fun…

Hello friends, since today I will be an active writer as I have completed the course/ exam of Tata-Dhan Academy. Tata-Dhan Academy is a unique institute in India which grooms young graduates for development sector. Tata-Dhan Academy is a centre for excellence in development management and aims to bring motivated, dedicated and proficient development professional to bring a significant change in society. Tata-Dhan Academy offers two years full time residential programme and short duration programme  viz Programme in Development Management and Development Management Programme.

Sir Ratan Tata Trust is one of the oldest philanthropist trusts which provides grants for bringing change in society through institutions charity for livelihood promotion, health and education to people. Sir Ratan Tata Trust also provides fellowship to the students of Tata-Dhan Academy to produce committed and dedicated development professionals. Ten batches of Programme in Development Management has been placed in designated organizations which are planning and implementing development projects for the poor.

The  Academy  facilitates  teaching,  training,  research  and  consultancy  through experienced  faculty  members,  with  the  guiding  principles  of  (i)  teaching  by practitioners, (ii) learning through action-reflection-action process and (iii) Attitude first, Skill next and Knowledge must to work with the marginalized communities and mainstream organizations.

Tata-Dhan  Academy  promotes  specialization  through  its  resource  centres  (I) Advanced Centre for Skill and Knowledge on Mutual Insurance (ASKMI) on insurance and (ii) Advanced Centre for Enabling Disaster Risk Reduction (ACEDRR) on disaster management.
